· Discuss the Hong Kong’s eHealth record sharing system

The eHealth record sharing system has included health care professionals in all public hospitals and clinics since its launch in 2016. Yet, as of September this year, more than half of private clinics in Hong Kong have not yet joined the platform. Among the private clinics connected to eHealth, the doctors had only used the platform 864,000 times in the past 12 months. In other words, on average, each private clinic had accessed the eHealth system once a day.
To attract more private health professionals to eHealth, public hospitals must share all the medical records they possess through the platform......
